At Parkside we are very proud of the standard of Electrolysis we carry out. We use Diathermy, Galvanism and a combination of the two called Blend. These are all forms of needle epilation, which produce excellent results. The use of disposable needles and a high standard of hygiene and sterilization are always applied.

We have 4 qualified members of BIAE (The British Institute and Association of Electrolysists Ltd).

A consultation and test patch treatment is recommended first, to assertain skin sensitivity and reaction to treatment. Our therapists have been specially trained and have years of experience.

Advanced Electrolysis or the removal of skin blemishes, is a specialist treatment designed to removed unwanted red veins, spider naevus, mila, skin tags, Campbell de Morgan spots, keratosis and small warts.

These conditions can be greatly reduced or even removed:

Red Thread Veins
Commonly found on cheeks, on and around nose, upper chest and upper back. Dilated capillaries often caused by sun, smoking, UVA and UVB or hereditary reasons.

Spider Veins
Collection of vessels often surrounding a central ‘blood-spot’. Commonly found on cheeks, nose, below eyes, upper chest and back of hands.

Blood Spots
Flat or protruding bright red spots which can be found anywhere on face or body.

Milia
Small white cysts commonly found on cheeks and under eyes.

Blocked Oil Glands
Stubborn blocked oil glands warmed up and gently extracted. Can also be removed by cleansing and steaming.

Keratosis
Benign oval shaped slightly raised textured lesions. Either coloured or pale, commonly found on the body and or face.

Stucio Kerotosis
Dry and raised similar to Kerotiosis (above).

Skin Tags
Benign, commonly found on neck, axilla and eye area often increase with age and friction.

Warts
Commonly found on hands, knees, fingers and are easily treated without messy “freezing” treatments.

Seborroeic Warts
Benign growth often hereditary, occur in middle age, crumbly, oily texture found on head, trunk and extremities.

Age Spots and Pigmentation Marks
Found on head, face, arms and hands. Generally sun induced, hereditary and particularly common on sun sensitive individuals.
